Notre Dame Street Revitalization
YES, Belle River-On the Lake is being transformed! Construction has begun as the sanitary sewers, storm sewers, street lights, and water main connections are being replaced underground. The bridge will remain open during this phase and will only be closed for a very short period of time when the road needs to be put in.
Notre Dame will see new accessible sidewalks, designated parking spots, new benches, garbage cans, bike racks and over 100 trees planted when completed near the end of the summer. Once the construction is complete in the area of the intersection and area in front of Home Hardware, Notre Dame will be closed from the lights to Dupuis Street (Source for Sports) for approximately 10- 12 weeks! One way streets off of Notre Dame will be come two way streets during construction so that there will be easier access ( Tim Hortons). We will all have to tolerate a little inconvenience for a few months but believe me when its done it will be well worth it!

On site registration booth is at Eleventh Street Entrance this year and opens at noon!
Downtown Belle River On the Lake, Ontario Canada!
This is our 12th anniversary of the Classic Cruise Car Show and we intend to make this an even better show than last year, when there were over 700 vehicles on display along Notre Dame Street. Notre Dame Street is the main drag in downtown Belle River-On the Lake.
Due to construction on the road at the east end of town...We will be utilizing the west end of town along Notre Dame between Dupuis St and Duck Creek which will be closed off to traffic making a perfect setting for displaying such fine vehicles for both exhibitors and spectators. The cars and trucks are angle parked for a kilometre on both sides of the street . There are door prizes and a poker walk for the participants, as well as a $100 BIA dollars prize randomly awarded to one of the pre-registered exhibitors....so make sure to preregister!!!
The Classic Cruise Car Show kicks off the Belle River Sunsplash weekend. Stroll down the main drag on Friday afternoon and evening viewing the amazing variety of classic cars, antiques, muscle cars, street rods, customs and more. Many stores and restaurants in Belle River are open and welcome you to drop in.
Muff Martin, from Exclusive Sound, provides music and commentary all day long.
